Flying Dinosaurs!!

The sun is shining and the pencil is currently drawing on a piece paper instead of on the cintiq. I’m in a draw 50 faces and 50 hands state in the moment. So I’m sad to say that a lot of pictures are on hold while the sun is still up.

Keep in mind that I´m still working on a lot of pictures including a Dead Red Redemption inspired piece and a awesome old school piece of Starscream. So if a rainy day should occur, the pics are coming up before you can say kvistfritt kvastskaft!

Cintiq-ifyed

Got some time to try out my new cintiq 12wx and things are running smoother than ever. Told ya I was going to change the latest updated pic, and so I did. It’s still featured in the new pic but not quite as apparent in comparison to the former one. Think this version worked out a lot better.



And for you guys that are not familiar with Starcraft, the latest piece is of a Terran marine from the forthcoming RTS game. This pic was initially a competition piece but I no longer care if it makes it or not, I’ll tell you how it goes in the future.



Still working on a lot of pictures and when time is not of the essence I’ll just sit down and finish them all.. You just have to bear with me ;)

Well well, Don’t have a lot of time to publish or even draw anymore, have to work at my “real” job. I’ve decided to save up alot of money so I can pursue my design dreams even further. I even ordered a Cintic 12WX, just sitting here waiting for it to be delivered. Hopefully it will make my work rate much faster and my pictures even more beautiful ;)



Helped a dude named Husky with a Art-piece for his StarCraft 2 comentating, mainly used for a tournament coming up. It supposed to be a Dark Templar from the race protos. Not really satified with the picture and I will probably fix it up later when I’ve got the time.

Constantly Improving

I’m getting more and more used to the wacom tablet and I think you can notice it in my latest pictures as well. The standard of the pictures is constantly getting better and I can produce pictures in a much faster rate than usual.


Even thou the wacom tablet is wonderful in a lot of ways i still think it’s kind of limited when it comes to free handing due to the inaccuracy. Dunno if a cintiq would help but until then i guess I’m stuck with my newbie bamboo :D

Stuck as F%#k!

So many projects and I don´t know where to begin!

Unfortunately I’ve found myself stuck on a couple of pictures I’m working on, so I’ve brushed off a relatively old unfinished piece of art instead.

I think I’ve developed my skill on the wacom tablet a lot since the last time I worked on this piece. Turned out great and it felt rather easy, especially now when I’m able to rotate the picture in CS4!

…If only I had a cintiq

Vantage Point

Woah!

Finally done with the Kaneda piece and I’m really satisfied how it turned out. Got a lot of projects floating around right now so we’ll se when more art is posted on the site.

I finally got CS4 working, and now I have to format my computer (bummer). Just beacuse my evaluation period of WIN7 is at its end. Really liked it in comparison to other windows related programs and operative systems. And when you can’t afford a mac you go for the second best thing, right?

Motivation

I’ve finally found motivation to paint again!

However, photoshop isn’t working as it should and It’s driving me insane. It takes forever just to quick save and because I’m a “save-abuser” that a huge problem. Got a lot of projects coming up on the site as long as I don’t ragequit Photoshop.

If anyone have a solution to the problem, don’t be a stranger. I’m currently using CS3 just because I’m unable to install CS4 (weird).

Frazzled Christmas

As you all might have noticed my activity towards the page have been low for a while now. Mostly caused by the holidays coming up and the rediscovered interest of polymer clay sculpting. Got a couple of art pieces coming up in the near future, or atleast this year, I hope.

It’s so hard to complete projects when there’s no deadline. I don’t know why thou, it could be that I don’t want to publish anything that I’m not 100% satisfied with. Anyway! Just wanted you guys to know that I´m working as much as possible in the amount of time I’ve got..

Architectural difficulties

Why does it have to be so hard and still so fun to sketch cities? I mean come on, it’s so easy to think of something inside your head, but when it comes to reproduce the thought onto a piece paper things tend to get a bit tricky. It could be that I´m new to this type of drawing technique, but still.. I´m used to have things go my way when it comes to the way of the pen. I guess It´s just a matter of time before I get the hang of it. By the way, this pic is just a small part of the Kaneda piece that I´m working on.

If someone have a tutorial or some course that I can use to improve my skill in this area dont be afraid to leave a comment!

Good for health..

So many projects and I don´t know where to begin. If only I was able to create a image in an hour things would be dandy.. But things like this takes time and patience. Unfortunately, sometimes there´s a great absence of both time and patience, which I´m experiencing as I´m writing this post.

Anyways, The main project I´m working on right now is a fanart piece of Kaneda (the main character of the motion piture Akira). It should be done at the end of this week if I don’t run into any more obstacles. The pic added in the post brings back memories, right?
Or is it just me?
